Working principle of VSI Impact Sand Machine

VSI sand maker adopts the principle of advanced selective crushing and cleavage crushing which directly exerts kinetic energy on materials and transforms the energy into crushing energy through impact. Materials break along with natural texture and cleavage surface. The products are in good shape and the energy consumption of the machine is low. It can achieve the transformation between two working principles of “stones break stones” and “stones beat the iron”.

Center Feeding:

After entering the feeding hopper, materials go into the speedy swing wheel through central feeding pore and are accelerated inside it with the acceleration in dozens of times the speed of gravitational acceleration. Then, they will be thrown from the swing wheel. Firstly, they impact with the other part of materials which fall free after rebounding. Then, they will crash onto the underlayer of materials (stones break stones) or impact block (stones beat iron) together and rebound obliquely to the top of the vortex cavity. With the direction of movement changed, they will move downward and impact with 

materials emitted from the runner of the impeller which forms continuous material curtain. Thus, the materials are impacted, abraded, ground and crushed for twice or more times in the vortex crushing chamber and will be discharged from the lower discharging outlet .
