Advantages of Rotary Drum Screen
Rotary drum screen has overcome the occlusion of screen deck when screening wet materials which improves the output and reliability of screening system. It’s applied to screen various materials and wet obstructive materials like coal, coal gangue, coke and lime and slaked lime. The maximum particle size of oversize products is 100mm, the middle is 10-50mm and the finest can reach below 3mm.

Working principle of Rotary Drum Screen
The drum is installed obliquely on the frame. The motor is connected with the coupling through the speed reducer to drive the drum to oscillate by the axle. When materials enter into the drum, materials will rotate by the oblique and rotary motion of the drum. Thus, qualified materials (oversize products) are discharged from the bottom discharging outlet while the unqualified materials (undersize products) are discharged from the outlet on the end of the drum. Because of rotation, materials stuck in the sieve pore can be ejected to avoid the congestion of the sieve pore.
