1.Operators need technological training to get informed of the principle and performance as well as the operation instructions of Raymond mill. Raymond mill should be in charge by personnel when it works. Operators must have some technological knowledge.
2. Maintenance Security Operation Regulations should be drafted in order to make the ball mill run safely for a long time. Meanwhile, it’s required for maintenance tools, lubricating grease and relative accessories.
3. After a period of using, it must be checked for repair and renewal, especially the abrasive parts like grinding roller, bull ring and shovel blade. It should be checked to see whether the connection of the bolt and the screw nut is loose and the lubricating grease is enough before and after the use of the grinding roller.
4. After more than 500 hours of working, all rolling bearings inside the roller sleeve must be cleaned when it needs renewal. The damaged parts need renewal in time. As for oil feeders, manual oil pump and pressure gun are available.
5. The feeding must be stopped before the machine turns off. The rotating of the machine is to grind the remaining materials. After a minute, the main motor can be shut down. The fan engine and the analytical engine can be turned off after grinding stops.
Advantages of Raymond Mill
Raymond mill is mainly used for barite, calcite, orthoclase, limestone, talcum, quartz, gypsum, etc., especially for those non-flammable and explosive ores of no more than Mohs’ hardness scale 12 and below 10% of humidity. It’s applied to fine grinding of hundreds of materials in chemical and constructional industries. The granularity of products can be randomly adjusted from 40 to 400Mesh. Based on different materials, fineness and output, this series is divided into three groups about a dozen of types which are common Raymond mill, high pressure micronizer, and high pressure suspension roller mill.
Working principle of Raymond Mill
Grinding roller tightly rolls on the bull ring under the centrifugal force which is shoveled by the shovel blade to send materials to the middle of the grinding roller and the ring. Under the action of roller compaction, materials are crushed into powder and are blown by the fan. Qualified materials go through the analytical engine while those unqualified should return to the grinding chamber for regrinding. Qualified materials are separated and collected in the cyclone separator. The ventilation adopts industrial filter cloth to get powder at one time.
