Disc Pelletizer

 Disc pelletizer, also called pelletizer or balling disc, has closed and open types. High strength fiber reinforced steel is line inside the disc pelletizer. It’s an ideal machine with even pelletizing, high efficiency, stable operation, solidity and long duration. It’s applied to pelletize powdery, small particle or lump of materials, such as coal powder, cement, clinker and chemical fertilizer. It’s comprised of big disc, main gear, transmission part, frame, base, scraping rack and scraper. The angle of the disc is adjustable according to the actual production, within 35° to 55°.

All dry powdery materials are fed from the top and conveyed to the curve rabbet between two rollers after deaeration and spiral pre-compression. Two rollers rotate reversely with the same speed and absorb materials for forced compression. Materials carry decreasing pressure after compression and then will be separated in the vibration screen. Qualified products are transported to the finished products bin or directly packed up by the conveyor. Powdery undersize materials will be sent to the raw material bin for second rolling by returning device. The extrusion force can be adjusted by the hydraulic system according to the necessary strength of particles. Piece, strip, olive and shallow spherical shapes of materials can be acquired by altering the open slot form of the rolling surface.
