Shaking table is a commonly used equipment for sorting fine-grained ores. It is usually composed of three main parts: bed surface, frame, and transmission mechanism. In addition, there are flushing tanks, ore feeding tanks, machine bases, etc. The entire bed surface is supported or suspended by a frame, which is equipped with a slope adjustment device.

Advantages of Shaking Table

Shaking Table is to separate fine and ultrafine particles with high accuracy. The ratio of enrichment reaches to 300 times when separating low grade tungsten and stannum; the separation efficiency is higher than that of other heavy-duty separators. It’s mainly used to separate tungsten, stannum, tantalum, niobium, chromium and other non-ferrous metal, rare metal and precious metal as well as iron, manganese and coal. The size of effective separation is 3-0.019mm for metal and the upper limit of 10mm for coal.

Working principle of Shaking Table

The separation is done on the oblique bed surface with spoke. Particles are fed from the upper feed tank and washing water is filled horizontally at the same time. Under gravity, action of water flow and inertia and friction produced by reciprocating bed surface, particles are laminated by specific gravity and granularity and move directly and horizontally along the oblique bed surface. Thus, different particles flow down from side A to side B in sector shape and are discharged respectively from the concentrate end and tailings outlet. Finally, they are separated as concentrate, middling and tailings.
