1. It has two types: dry and wet. Separators can be selected according to the character of materials and separation environment.
2. Using neodymium iron boron as the magnetic source, it’s not easy to demagnetize. It can be continuously used for more than 10 years with the demagnetization rate of less than 5%.

Advantages of High Intensity Magnetic Separator
High intensity magnetic separator is a machine for the purification and classification of low-intensity magnetic materials with the magnetic field intensity of more than 10,000Gs. It has two types: dry and wet. The machine is mostly rolling machine which increases the contact area between materials and the equipment and improves the separation efficiency. It’s commonly used to the deferrization or iron dressing of nonmagnetic materials and purification of various low-intensity materials like specularite, manganese, limonite, hematite, chromite, siderite, martite, psilomelane massive, tantalum-niobium ores, deferrization of kaolin, quartz, potassium albite, iron dressing of sulfuric-acid residue, steel residue and red mud.

Working principle of High Intensity Magnetic Separator
Particles are sent to the upper magnetic roller for separation through the conveyor belt. Due to the magnet, ores are instantly absorbed onto the magnetic roller while gangue particles (rocks and sand) will revolve with the roller for its non-magnetism (or weak magnet). Particles continue to be absorbed onto the magnetic roller while gangue particles will be thrown in front of the baffle when the magnetic roller moves to the front (altering the grade of concentrate by altering the angle of baffle). Ores will fall automatically into the first collector as concentrate products through the removal of magnetic region. Because the gangue particles contain some particles with weak magnet, they will go to the lower magnetic roller for separation and enter into the secondary collector as products which are discharged from the tailing outlet.
